Resort Galleria Umberto has dedicated nine rooms to some of
the wittiest minds of Art History. These rooms are individually
inspired by their unique styles and are a tribute to: Palizzi,
representative artist of the Vedutismo genre; Picasso, volcanic
mastermind; Klee, who loved vivid shades and incisive shapes;
Pitloo, Dutch landscape painter who belonged to the school of
Posillipo; Van Gogh, who improved the brightest colours and his
original style during the time he spent at Arles; Gigante,
another main artist of the genre of Vedutismo; Klimt, famous for
his female subjects, whether formal portraits or nudes, which
display a highly sensitized fin de siècle elegance; Miró, whose
work has been interpreted as Surrealism, a sandbox for the
subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike; De Chirico,
pre Surrealist Italian painter, who founded the Scuola
Metafisica Art Movement.

tub and plenty of accessories, including hairdryer and bath
robe. Moreover, rooms of this type feature wireless Internet
access and are also available for disabled guests.
JUNIOR SUITES:
Consist of a bedroom and a living room. Furniture is extremely
refined and includes large sofa, working desk, walk-in closet,
and queen size bed. Bathrooms are wide and elegant with marble
coverings, walk-in shower and whirlpool bath and plenty of
accessories, including hairdryer, bath robe and slippers. In
